I have been meaning to post this for awhile.
Here is one of the wedding albums, it's got a wonderful cover, hot stamped names on the front of the album, they can either be leather or animal friendly. This one pictured is animal friendly. In the back is space for a dvd.
Disco came back, just for a night and just to help one of the best groups ever raise some money and three service teams graduated.
PAALS, Palmetto Animal Assistant Life Services, held a fundraiser and used disco as a backdrop to help to celebrate recent graduates and also raise a little bit of money.

Mo turned 15 years old. That's 105 to you and me and my friend Pat decided that Mo should have a party. I mean how many labs do you know that are 105?
So, Mo and Pat, invited a few of their friends (with both two legs and four) and added some beer, tennis balls and well, lots of butt sniffing and it was quite the party.
The dogs had doggie cake and ice cream and the people had some amazing homemade oreo cupcakes. Honestly these things were fantastic.
I hope that I get an invite to Mo's 16th party, that dog stole three of his party guest's cake slices and managed to get just as many ice creams from his friends. He's pretty quick for an old guy.
On occasion I have the opportunity to get to shoot some fashion. Thanks to Carolina Living Magazine we spent the day at Riverbanks Zoo and took a look at what's going to be hot for the upcoming season.
Last weekend I found myself in Aiken, South Carolina at the 17th annual Battle of Aiken reenactment. Every year a few hundred reenactors spend the weekend in battles and talking to visitors about what happened 147 years ago.

PAALS, Palmetto Animal Assisted Life Services, is an amazing group of folks who train dogs to assist people with varying abilities to live more independent by providing them with assistance dogs. Most of the dogs are primarly placed in South Carolina and go on to assist children with autisum, soliders with PTSD and individuals with special needs.
These photos show the dogs in training, (it takes two years to train these dogs) at restaurants, working with a client at her job, and with soliders. One of the commands that the dogs, who are going to assist soliders who are suffering with PTSD are taught, is a command called "cover". The dog is taught to watch behind the solider, to basically have his/her back.

Brent and Erica are the cutest couple. I mean, just look at them, they are so sweet.
They wanted to do some photos to give as gifts and we headed out to Lake Murray.
Brent wasn't sure what to expect and didn't think he would enjoy the session, figured he could just kinda gut it out. I am happy to say that at the end of the session, Brett kept talking about how much fun he had. I mean, part of an afternoon walking around and kissing your sweetie, not a bad way to spend the afternoon.

Mostly it's because of the dogs.
This event, The Grand American Hunt in Orangeburg. Dogs as far as the eye can see. All hounds, Blueticks, Redbones, Mountain Cur, Plotts, Black and Tan and more than I can name.
When I was growing up, the first dog I ever owned came from the Fredericksburg Dog Mart. A similar event, but dogs of all kinds could be had.

The Haile Gold Mine in Kerhsaw, South Carolina hopes to begin mining gold in the next year or so. The town of Kershaw could not be more delighted.
Kershaw is a fantastic little town. I'm totally in love with the old drug store, wouldn't that be fun to restore and run and if you are looking for some great pizza you have to check out Gus's Pizza.

Recently i had the opportunity to do some lifestyle photos for Eat More T's, a great place to get wonderful t-shirts. They have a new fun, girly line of shirts and needed some fun flirty photos. I have to say that I also really love their USC t-shirts, some of the best slogans and graphics!!!

I had the best time with Amy as we took her maternity photos
This was her third child and she wanted to do something she hadn't done before. How cool right?? So, along with her fantastic husband, Jess and her two adorable kids we got down to business and had a great time. Since it was so hot we did all the photos in her living room.
I can tell it's Summer time, not just because of the longer days but also because I have been shooting a lot of baseball. Here are some of my favorites so far.
This weekend I got a chance to hang out with Civil War re-enactors at Ft. Moultrie on Sullivans island, SC.
Both Union and Confederate re-enactors have descended into Charleston for the anniversary firing on Ft. Sumter. Tuesday will mark the 150 year anniversary of the start of the Civil War.
Events will be held all week long at Ft. Moultrie, you can check the National Park Service website, www.nps.gov and search Ft. Moultire to see the list of events.
In the last few months I have had the opportunity to spend a little bit of time on the coast.
