Packages start at $2,600 and include hourly coverage, a spiral-bound proof-book and a password-protected site to view all the images from your wedding.

Packages with albums begin at $3,900.

All portrait sessions – engagement, bridal or family – begin at $300 and include a proof-book and a 8×10 or 11×14 custom print.

FAQ

– How long have you been making pictures?

More than 20 years. I’ve worked for newspapers and magazines. I’ve been photographing weddings for the last few years.

– What is your style?

Since my background and education are in photojournalism, my style is pure storytelling. I’ll capture moments throughout your day, starting with pre-wedding preparations and continuing through the ceremony and the reception. I’ll tell your story from a shared moment with best friends to the first dance to dashing through rice, bubbles, birdseed or sparkles as you head toward your honeymoon.

– Do you shoot digital or film?

All digital. I use Canon cameras and lenses. Everything is photographed in color but can be converted into black and white. Usually when I’m editing images I have shot, I’ll change images that I think would look good in black and white.

– Do you travel?

We cover the East Coast and are located in West Columbia, S.C. There is a travel charge for coverage 150 miles outside the Columbia area.

– What should we wear for engagement session?

Clothes you feel comfortable in. If you’re not sure, ask ahead of time and I’ll be happy to help you choose. For engagement session I allow time for a clothing change or two. For session for the kids, sometimes it’s fun to allow them to pick out an outfit.

– How many images do you shoot at a wedding?

It varies. I typically shoot more than 1,000 images at a wedding. Between 35o and 600 of those edited images are posted on a password-protected site for viewing and ordering.

– Do you take traditional group photos?

Yes. I know they are important to your day and we carve out time for this. But we try to keep it around 30 minutes.

– Can I get a digital negatives so I ca make my own prints?

Yes, you can purchase the digital negatives with a release form as an add-on to any package.

– Are all the photos on your website and blog, photographs that you made?

Yes, occasionally I will use a second photographer at events, but all images on my site and blog are ones that I made, unless stated otherwise.

– How soon after the wedding are pictures available?

Images will be online in 2-3 weeks, and a proof-book will be delivered. Albums take 3-4 week once the album is designed. Prints take about 2 weeks.

– White kind of albums do you use?

I use three different albums: primarily Asuka and an Italian company called GraphiStudio albums. Both are coffee-table size albums and come with a variety of cover options.

– How do I hire you for my wedding?

It’s easy, just email or call and let’s see if  have that day available. If I do, we can get together to figure out what you are looking for, coverage time, prints and albums, along with re-hearsal dinner coverage, engagement or bridal session. A deposit of $1,500 is due at contract signing and the balance is due 10 days prior to your wedding date.
